End of the Month Rituals

At the end of each month I like to take some time to reflect, and see what I have accomplished; but also evaluate why I may not have done some of the things I wanted to. As we now head into the third month of the year I think its time we really start honing in on those goals we set back in January, and keep ourselves accountable for the actions we take daily. This is why I think reflection is important, but also planning for the month that lies ahead. So in todays post I'm going to share with you all the things I do in order to reflect, reassess, and prepare myself for the new cycle! - if...

So starting this week I am bringing to you some of the recipes we love to create in our home. These will be recipes that have you feeling holistically healthy - in terms of your mind, body, emotions and soul. What I mean by this is that there are no ‘guilty’ feelings attached to any of these recipes ( so even the treat recipes I put up will be healthy ! ) but they will also have you feeling satisfied, nourished, and connected....

The Difference Between Fluid Extracts and Tinctures

In the last herbal basics post I spoke about water based herbal extracts, a lot of which you can make yourself ( or you can purchase some of the Lavender & Co. tea blends here. ) In this post I’m talking about the two types of alcohol based extracts, and these are generally prescribed for you by a professional; however there are many recipes available, and there are a few I like to make myself and keep on hand that I will be sharing in a future post. Please note: Before consuming anything please consult your holistic health care practitioner. These blog posts are for informational purposes only and I am in no way giving medical advice. Alcohol based extracts...
